Bronze is a copper alloy and one of the most significant materials to any human culture that encountered it. So how could we resist making a Gömböc from it to prolong the Bronze age a bit. The bronze we use has 3 times the density of aluminium. From it we make the heaviest product in our standard Gömböc range. If you are lucky it may move for several minutes on a plain surface until it stands still.
Bronze is superior to iron as it is considerably less brittle, nonmagnetic and only oxidizes superficially; i.e. the thin oxide layer protects the underlying metal from further corrosion.
The material we use is the GC-CuSn12 (DIN 1705) alloy which contains copper (between 85% and 88,5%) and tin (between 11% and 13%).
Each Gömböc comes with a booklet that contains all key information and a unique product ID to uniquely identify the Gömböc and prove its authenticity.

The Gömböc will be delivered in a transportation and presentation box.
This lightweight box optimally protects the Gömböc during transportation. In addition, it serves as a robust storage and its inner layer can be used separately to present the Gömböc. A little opening at the top allows a view onto the Gömböc logo. A transparent layer with the mathematical formulae covers the top opening and protects the Gömböc from dust.
