The famous porcelain manufactory in Herend (Hungary) produces this exciting object. It is made from white porcelain, baked at 1,400°C and hand painted by the masters of the manufactury with the formulae of the original Gömböc proof.

The Herend shape is a pseudo-Gömböc because of its hollow interior. It was not intended as perfect copy of the mathematical definition but as an interpretation of it in the space of art, design and lifestyle. This makes Herend's first dynamic shape not only a truly unique object, but the World's first artistic representation of the "Gömböc".
